New Facility Concept Design Brief 2010

The Hedland Well Women's Centre Strategic Plan identifies the need to address succession planning and the continued growth of the Centre. With more than 12,000 clients and visitors per year, the exisiting facility has become too small.

Our current location is adjacent to a distributor road being developed as part of the South Hedland Town Centre Redevelopment project. These factors are anticipated to have significant negetive impact on the Centre's accessibility and the Centre will be required to relocate.

The Centre engaged the services of Creating Communities to draft a Concept Design Brief for presentaton of the facility's future requirements to Town of Port Hedland Council and stakeholders involved in planning of a revitalised South Hedland.
