WoW: Baby and Toddler First Aid Talk
This practical and interactive first aid session is designed for mothers, grandmothers, and carers of young children.
Led by Emily from Prime First Aid, participants will gain essential first aid knowledge and hands-on skills to help them respond confidently in an emergency.
The session covers:
- CPR (adult, child, and infant)
- Choking
- Asthma
- Anaphylaxis
- Febrile convulsions
- Common childhood rashes and when to seek medical advice
- Dehydration
- Head injuries
- Burns
- Bleeding
Through practical demonstrations, discussion, and opportunities to ask questions, participants will build confidence in recognising and responding to common first aid emergencies involving babies and toddlers.
👶 Babies under 6 months of age are welcome to attend with their parent or carer.
