CEO - Rebekah Worthington
moved to town 8 years ago with her family to join the mining game in
safety and training management. But a passion for women’s health, a
growing love for the community and a desire to assist others, has found
her in her element at the Well Women's Centre. Rebekah brings with her
great leadership as well as a unique skill in meditation and mindfulness
teaching to keep us all zen.
Counsellor - Simmy KnottAs a client centered Counsellor, Simmy has a strong desire and ability to assist and support clients through stages of their life journey. She has many skills under her belt including reflexology and community education programs, as she likes to takes a holistic view to health. She is also working towards developing her skills in other therapies such as CBT and IFS.
Administration - Jill Byrne
is here to assist you with any inquiries, she is the welcoming face at
the door and the friendly voice over the phone. Jill has called Hedland
home on and off over the last 6 years and has heart for the centre and
keeping us all organised and the day to day operations ticking over
Dietitian - Nicole Bathurst
With over 25 years’ experience as a Dietitian and a health educator, Nicole has incredible knowledge
around whole foods and the science within the body. She also
provides amazing support to women through parenting skills as well as general
self-care and well-being, as she leads an inspirational life of health.
Health Nurse - Elyssa SvarcWith experience in community health and general practice, Elyssa's role at the centre is to offer women support in preventative health. Elyssa has an amazing skill at working with and educating young women. She is passionate about providing education around sexual health for the younger demographic as well as assisting women on their health journey.
Full-time Counsellor - Gloria Lockyer
Gloria is an expert in narrative therapy and community and group therapy. She is a local woman who understands local culture and the harsh North West environment. Her passion is to support women in a holistic approach which strengthens women and in turn families and community.
